About ELL

At the innocent age of four, most children are embracing newfound freedoms, friendships, schooling and living in a world with few worries. It was at this tender age, almost three years ago when similar experiences were overshadowed by threats to our food allergic child’s life. Threats from the mislabeled foods he consumed and threats within the school environment in which he attended.

Can any mother look into the eyes of a child and accept the reality that he may be harmed by the foods he eats or by simply attending school?

This was a defining moment; the primary driver behind the creation of an organization that addresses critical issues influencing a safer tomorrow for children with food allergies and anaphylaxis.

ELL, Inc. a national not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization advocates for more complete and accurate allergen ingredient food labeling and manages a nationwide program of training services on food allergy safety to schools, camps, daycare facilities and home environments.
