Join Our Consultant Network
ELL Supports the Development of a National Network of Consultants to Assist Schools in Implementing Policies and Procedures to Better Safeguard Children with Severe Food Allergies.
A critical mission of ELL is to establish a national group of individuals consultants having the tools and knowledge base to provide education and training to school faculty in implementing standardized policies and procedures to secure the safety of its allergenic children. Consulting services will also be made available to individual families requesting assistance in coping with the challenges of food allergies.

Did you know that 75% of school-aged children will suffer one or more allergic reactions while at school? Added education and consistency in procedures and policies will support added safety for our children.
The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Management Act (FAAMA) of 2008, which has been passed by the House of Representatives and is currently before the Senate, calls for voluntary national guidelines to help schools manage students affected by food allergy and anaphylaxis.
In order to effectively implement universal policies, ELL is creating a nation-wide network of consultants who are trained and certified to provide the necessary education and assistance to schools throughout the United States.
How will this program work?
ELL’s group of consultants will be commissioned to visit school personnel and/or families accross America upon request. ELL will also inform allergists across the country, school district personnel and other leading allergy and anaphylaxis support groups.
ELL would provide standardized manuals and reference materials for the consultants to utilize when meeting with families and/or school personnel. All information included will be consistent with the guidelines recommended by FAAMA.
Will I be compensated?
Yes. The program will be designed to compensate consultants roughly $65 per hour. With visits to multiple schools within a district and multiple districts and families within a territory, there is a sizeable opportunity for each consultant.
