The efforts of ELL are directly focused on saving lives by ensuring greater safety for children afflicted with life-threatening food allergies and anaphylaxis. Greater safety in the manufactured foods they consume and within the environments in which they learn.

Unlike many other organizations, ELL does NOT charge members for its services.

As a result, ELL relies on both corporate sponsorship as well as individual donations in order for its numerous initiatives to be executed. YOU will make a difference by contributing to ELL. Help us to raise the necessary funds to accomplish the following:

Lobby local and federal government officials

• To incorporate the necessary laws that finally monitor and enforce penalties on those manufacturers not adhering to accurate labeling practices as dictated by the Food Allergy Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004
• To mandate insurance companies to subsidize consultative support services to educate families afflicted by food allergies and educational facilities incorporating new safety procedures and policies
• To support the creation of a certification/accreditation system that recognizes those manufacturers who incorporate “safe” procedures and standards in manufacturing to ensure food allergy safety

Collect and disseminate information reported on manufacturers not adhering to the federal labeling laws by providing inaccurate or incomplete ingredient information

Raise awareness of ELL and its efforts through involvement in industry events including the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Walk through sponsorship, exhibition and participation. Execute marketing programs and recruit coverage among national and local press.

Establish a nationwide network of local consultants to provide education, training, and reference manuals to school faculties and families across the country.

Design and manufacture products that will provide added safety to allergenic children under the SAFE-TY Zone line.

Provide ongoing information to the community through monthly newsletters, announcements and a blog forum.
